The Statue of Liberty is the epitome of freedom. She is the first site many people saw when coming to America by boat during the immigration waves of the early 20th century. Today, visitors and locals can visit both Lady Liberty and Ellis Island via Ferry.

On September 11th, 2001, America would forever be changed by the events that occurred that day. Whether you lived through it, or you want to educated the younger generations about 9/11, it’s worth it to stop in the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. According to the Museum’s website, “[It] tells the story of 9/11 through artifacts, imagery, personal stories, and interactive technology.”
